There is probably a specific day that you need to be out of your current place by. That will give you plenty of time to clean the place you are leaving, if it is a rental property. If you can, try to get into your new place early as well. This will allow you to clean everything thoroughly before you move your stuff in. You don’t want to start off in a home that is not spotless, so this step is essential.

You could pack up all your belongings yourself, but keep in mind that would take a ton of time and energy that you may not want to dedicate to the moving process. By hiring trustworthy movers to handle the packing and unpacking, you will free up time that can be better utilized to clean your new space.
